Over two years ago, Compass Group adopted the Management and Performance (MAP) framework, which focuses on key areas to optimize performance: (1) Client sales and marketing costs (2) Consumer sales and marketing costs (3) Food costs (4) Unit costs (5) Above unit costs
Our great people are a key component to the execution of our MAP strategy, we developed the People MAP, which supports all 5 MAP areas. The People MAP strategy creates a framework that helps us focus on 5 key areas: (1) Attract (2) Retain (3) Develop (4) Engage (5) Perform
In order to mirror the new People MAP strategy, our Diversity Strategy now engages and elevates our associates as it relates to diversity and inclusion.
Compass Group has a proud history of diversity and inclusion from 1999-present day:
Business/Sector Partnerships • North America Diversity Action Council (NADAC) was formed initiating Zone councils for concentrated diversity efforts. • Integration of diversity as a guiding principle in our MAPPING Strategy resulted in the expansion of the Diversity Department. • Sector Diversity Action Councils and the development of performance tools, such as diversity workplans, help to support the expansion of these business partnerships. • North American Diversity Action Council (NADAC) was reestablished an advisory committee to the sector diversity action councils and the officers of Compass Group.
Benefit & Associate Relations • Recognition of Sexual Orientation and Domestic Partner benefits positioned Compass as a Preferred Diverse Employer of choice. • Evolving the Women’s Initiative Network (WLN) group into the Women leadership Network, continues to add benefit and impact. • Expansion of Diversity Communications internal and external support the value of all work life issues
